Clothing Drive
Spring 2021

Donate this time, attend our next swap!

We are so excited to be able to offer a CLOTHING DRIVE this quarter!
At this time, we do not have the regulations/venue/capacity to be able to hold a full public swap, BUT we are hosting a CLOTHING DRIVE this quarter. If you donate to this drive, you can come without donations to the next swap!

Donations only:

Please only drop off donations *already on hangers* (unless they are only foldable, then drop them off folded in a bag)- you can drop them off at Asia's office anytime Monday, May 10th- Thursday, May 13th. (address, times & dates below)! (Friday drop offs if you text Asia and let her know when! 805-888-7448) (This info is reiterated below!)

(If you drop off outside these time frames, they will most likely get stolen so don't do that!)

They can be crappy hangers, and please plan to donate those hangers as it will be difficult to keep track of whose is whose to return! You can tie a rubber band around the hanger necks if that makes it easier for you to transport!

There is a table outside you can leave donations on if we are not there! Or lean bags against the window! NO LOOSE ITEMS PLEASE.

Do NOT bring: irreparably torn, damaged or stained clothing, or underwear. The amount of time it takes to sift through and throw away other people's underwear is time we would love to spend doing literally anything else. Only bring shoes if they are in TIP TOP shape.

Childrens’ clothing also accepted.

Drop off times & dates:
Monday May 10th- Thursday May 13th, 7 am to 6 pm at Asia’s office: 1242 Monterey Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 93405. We are one door in from Skippers Brew coffee! You can park anywhere in the parking lot, hopefully there is a spot right in front - you will see the purple sign!

If you want to drop off Friday, you totally can, please text Asia! 805-888-7448

How to get in the next one:
Take a photo of you dropping off your clothes and use that as a ticket to the next swap!

As usual, all remaining items get donated to the Women’s Shelter in SLO (now known as Stand Strong) and several other local charities! This is a great way to prune your closet, help local women + children in need, and invest in the next swap to spruce up your wardrobe. THIS IS A WIN WIN WIN. More than half my clothes come from clothing swaps. Reuse, recycle, baby.
